Beautiful Beans on Toast (Vegan)

Every Pantry Needs Everland…. and every toast needs baked beans! šŸ˜‹

Ditch the can and give these ⁠homemade baked beans a try.

Ingredients:⁠

  • 1 large onion, sliced into thin strips⁠

  • 1/3 cup tomato paste

  • 2 tbsp. Blackstrap Molasses⁠

  • 2 tbsp. Everland Apple Cider Vinegar⁠

  • 2 tbsp. Everland Soy sauce⁠

  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika

  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup Everland Maple syrup⁠

  • 1 can Everland Cannellini beans⁠

    Directions

    1. Mix together tomato paste, onions, black molasses, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, paprika and maple syrup all together in a casserole dish.

    2. Add in the beans and stir gently.

    3. Pour the beans into a 2 quart casserole dish. If the beans look dry, stir in up to ½ cup more water.

    4. Bake for 2 hours at 300 degrees.
